Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to manage various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tankers.

Duties:

• Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tankers.
• Load and unload cargo securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while considering road conditions and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered on the road.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated.
• Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and logistics.
• Ability to operate refrigerated trailers as well as other truck types such as flatbeds and dump trucks.
• Strong attention to detail for loading/unloading procedures and safety inspections.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
