Position: Chart Management Coordinator II
Openings: 1
Duration: 3 month contract to possible hire
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Hours: Monday- Friday 8-5; 3 days remote, 2 in person (Wednesdays and Thursdays)

Day-to-Day:
Medical Record Management & Compliance : Retrieves and manages medical records from hospital EHR systems, ensures HIPAA compliance, coordinates release requests, and handles audits, appeals, and legal inquiries.
Documentation & Chart Oversight : Reviews and uploads documentation to Practice Management Software, troubleshoots missing/incomplete records, and resolves coder-identified deficiencies in LightSpeed Vericode.
Billing & Claims Resolution : Performs billing functions, corrects charges, resolves errors, and works with payers and internal teams to ensure clean claim submission and efficient claims resolution.
Customer Service & Process Improvement : Responds to inquiries, meets productivity and quality standards, maintains knowledge of regulations and policies, and actively contributes to process enhancements.
