Background

This role specifically supports the development of content that helps teachers pass their certification exams.

And it is a tough job! You will have to create and review instructional materials.

To do this, you will:

  • Collaborate with curriculum coordinators to understand their content needs
  • Outline complex assignments
  • Write original content and review content written by a team of contractors
  • Communicate with and provide feedback to a team of contractors
  • Support the curriculum coordinator in the hiring and onboarding of their team of contractors
  • Learn to use our proprietary software for content analysis and uploading
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Complete special content projects and audits as needed

  • Be an exceptional, efficient content writer and an impactful content reviewer

Mission

You will support curriculum coordinators as they improve and develop curriculum for study guides across all levels (early childhood through high school). You will create and coordinate the development of instructional materials, including study materials, questions, flashcards, and visual components.

Core Duties

  • Coordinate content creation in alignment with the roadmap of study guides we are publishing
  • Become an internal expert on the style and formatting of 240 Tutoring content
  • Directly support the completion of instructional materials, including writing and reviewing content
  • Support curriculum coordinators as they evaluate, hire, and manage a team of contract writers
  • Provide pedagogical and content knowledge expertise when needed
  • Contribute to other curriculum projects and materials as time permits

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified teacher with an active license
  • At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience
  • Eligibility to work within the US as a W2 employee

Job Type : Full-time

Salary: $57,000.00 - $60,000.00
