About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for the Canton, Ohio, Stark County area. This external-facing, community relations role is pivotal in supporting the organization's mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for being the face of the organization in the community, developing and managing sustained relationships, and effectively mobilizing support and resources. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary liaison to the community, influencing to create an environment of teamwork and inclusion, and working with community volunteer leaders and the chapter board to achieve mission goals. The role demands a professional with a four-year college degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 5 years' related experience, and a proven track record in communication, influencing, and relationship management. To excel in this position, candidates must have a strong background in community engagement, fundraising, and the ability to work in a flexible, change-managed environment. The Executive Director will be expected to travel within the region and must have a valid driver's license. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and experience in a similar role with a focus on volunteer engagement and revenue generation is a competitive edge.
