Global Supply Chain Analyst What Will You Do? The Global Supply Chain Analyst is accountable for orchestrating the supply planning strategy of the business units to maximize service-levels in a cost-effective manner. The responsibilities include coordinating the inventory strategy, product lifecycle management, supply network optimization, and purchase order placement. The Analyst must have a continuous improvement mindset and will work cross-functionally to promote collaboration while coordinating the execution of supply chain initiatives that deliver significant value.
- Develop and orchestrate the supply plan to align with strategic initiatives while ensuring that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time.
- Support product launch planning and monitoring.
- Develop and implement inventory strategies and processes in alignment with multiple channels and units, key inventory targets, and financial goals.
- Manage the product lifecycle for the business units in collaboration with Demand Planners and the Sales Team to ensure that products are properly phased in and out.
- Optimize the supply network for the business units to ensure that products are sourced and delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to promote collaboration and ensure that the supply chain is aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Initiate and execute supply chain initiatives that deliver significant value.
- Identify trends and risks, provide recommendations for action plans, and makes conscious choices to reduce risk, drive speed, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Manage and support the execution of the tactical responsibilities associated with purchase order management.
- Participate and prepare Demand and Supply Reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to train team members and others.
- Develop and foster relationships with entry through Director level business representatives.
- Analyze data and recommend enhancements to various process management needs for Supply Chain
- Oversee the planning improvement processes for defined product families and suppliers to exceed company KPIs
- Identify supply chain disruptions, including inventory shortages or capacity conditions that adversely affect customer satisfaction.
What You Need?- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Logistics, Business or related field is preferred
- Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Buying, Inventory Control, or capacity management
- Advanced expertise with Excel; (interactive excel, macros) is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with ERP system, BI, SQL, SAP, Tableau is a plus
