High School History Teacher
To Begin August 2025
The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving more than 850 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City. We are seeking a High School History Teacher to begin in August 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated High School History professional who will engage and inspire students, foster strong communication with parents and colleagues, and contribute to our mission of developing students to become responsible, honest, compassionate, and respectful citizens.
Responsibilities:
• Teach both World Civilizations, United States History and other history-based electives.
• Bring passion and dedication to the classroom to inspire students to reach their full potential.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop enrichment plans for students.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Pay Rate: $55,000-$85,000
