Housekeeper (Hotel)

 

 

 

As a Housekeeper for Traditions Hospitality Group, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. Your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests.

 

 

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Replace linens and towels as needed, ensuring all items are clean and presentable.
  • Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
  • Restock guest room amenities and supplies, such as toiletries and coffee.
  • Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance issues and report any findings to the appropriate department.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleaning standards and guest privacy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and overall cleanliness of the property.

 

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Presentable appearance and willingness to wear a uniform.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

 

 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry heavy objects, such as linens and cleaning supplies.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and odors.
  • Moderate physical effort required.
  • Minimum to moderate exposure to smoke.
