About the Role
The Company is in need of an Interim Senior Legal Counsel to provide expert legal guidance and support for its operations in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, with a primary focus on business development, project development, and the full spectrum of greenfield renewable projects. This includes involvement in PPA, EPC, and the construction and operation of such projects. The role also involves active participation in M&A transactions, diverse financing activities, and ensuring the vigilant oversight and management of existing assets in the region. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and be a strong team player, with proficiency in another foreign language being an advantage. Applicants for the Interim Senior Legal Counsel position at the company should have at least 6 years of post-qualification experience, with a background in the energy sector and a qualification in Singapore or other common law jurisdictions. Experience in PPA, front-end drafting, project development and financing, renewables projects, JVs, and M&A is essential. The role requires a candidate who is adept at providing comprehensive legal support, is detail-oriented, and can ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
