Arc70 is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Underwriting and Portfolio Management team in Costa Mesa, CA. Candidates should have 2-5+ years of experience working in credit or real estate finance.

Arc70 is an investment management firm based in Burlingame, CA that is focused on financing affordable housing across the U.S. The firm has financed the preservation or creation of over 45,000 units of affordable housing since inception. Arc70 manages over $4.8 billion in affordable housing related investments and works with notable and sophisticated long-term investors. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified individuals to hit the ground running and contribute to the firm’s impact while working alongside highly accomplished principals and investors. This person will be a critical member of the team and will be involved in key aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, and present investment opportunities, build investment memorandums, and model returns
• Support due diligence by reviewing all deal-level documents
• Build financial models to analyze returns and assess various scenarios
• Update data tapes, dashboards, and other internal reports to monitor asset and portfolio level performance
• Create case studies and other marketing materials for internal and external parties
• Assist with monitoring daily mark-to-market valuations and hedging of warehoused positions
• Provide ongoing support and report to the underwriting and portfolio management team
• Work closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance
• Familiarity with affordable housing, warehousing, financial modeling, and securitizations preferred but not required
• Strong ethical standards, organization, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to various deliverables
• Curious and always striving to fully understand issues, process ideas completely, and efficiently execute on tasks or problems
• Fluency in Microsoft and Google Suites
• Motivation to deliver and passion to grow a business and its operations
