Job Description

Position Summary

This position will report to a designated site lead and will receive assigned tasks via a centralized Answers queue. While certifications are not required, candidates should possess basic IT skills and demonstrate a willingness to learn. Prior IT experience will be prioritized over formal education.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational support to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and availability of technology systems for end users
Perform routine system maintenance and updates, assist with system customizations and changes, and maintain system disaster recovery procedures
Facilitate the onboarding of new employees, including technology setup, computer delivery, and system access provisioning
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues; implement approved system changes and upgrades
Perform preventative maintenance on IT systems and networks; monitor system performance and ensure accuracy
Conduct root-cause analysis to identify recurring issues
Support manufacturing-related IT activities, including networking, manufacturing diagnostics/operations support (MDOS), shop floor triage, and general IT support
Work with various types of technology including computers, handheld devices, and tablets
Assist with wireless network setup and troubleshooting

Qualifications

Basic IT skills required
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
IT experience is strongly preferred and will be considered over formal education
