Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled light, medium and heavy haul truck driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading, loading and transporting machinery. The driver must be able handle complex logistics and have a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to operate various types of equipment, trucks and trailers (Landoll, lowboy, demo dump trailer).

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive various types of trucks, trailers and machinery.
• Load and unload cargo without incident.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (Class A CDL).
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience in hauling oversized equipment.
• Familiarity with cargo handling procedures and load securing techniques.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients.
