At Nurny we are looking for energetic and caring individuals to supervise children/adolescents with neurodevelopmental diagnoses (i.e., autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, Down syndrome, global developmental delay, etc.). We are seeking caring and experienced professionals who enjoy spending time with kids and helping them lead more independent lives. The successful applicant will be responsible for engaging children in fun, developmentally appropriate activities, following through with therapeutic interventions, and utilizing individualized communication strategies.
This is a long-term position, part-time hours position
The successful applicant must have availability at least 3 days per week from 3:30 pm-6:00 pm Monday-Friday . Additionally, the applicant should be able to drive to/from Santa Rosa and have at least 6 months experience working with children with neurodevelopmental needs.
This incredible family is seeking a nanny who is open to working with a fun, spunky, and determined 5-year-old boy on the autism spectrum. They are looking for someone to be an extra set of hands and learn about the child's therapy and needs, and possibly chip in with occasional care of the older sibling in a pinch.
Requirements/Qualifications
● Open-minded and willing/eager to learn
● Must have reliable transportation to get to and from client's home, clean driving record, Able to lift 30-35 lbs.
