U nder limited supervision, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates education programs based upon adult learning principles for a clinical service line. Works collaboratively with nursing leadership and nursing staff to support nursing professional development and competency. Educator lends expertise to elevate nursing practice in service line and hospital-wide initiatives. REQUIREMENTS : Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. Bachelor’s in Nursing required, Master's required or enrollment in a Master’s program within 2 years of hire. National Certification required (Nursing Specialty, Nursing Professional Development or ASTD). Previous education/teaching experience preferred. 3-5 years of RN experience in the ED setting. Maryland Registered Nurse License, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications.
