Job Description

Perl Developer Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Perl Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Perl programming and experience in developing and maintaining high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Perl.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Debug and troubleshoot existing code to resolve issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Maintain documentation for systems and code to facilitate future modifications and updates.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Perl and related tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in Perl programming.
Proficiency in Perl and related technologies, including CGI, DBI, and Apache.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Experience with web development frameworks and database design.
Familiarity with LAMP stack, JavaScript, and Linux.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other programming languages such as Python or Ruby.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with automated testing and continuous integration.
