About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President & Chief Enterprise Systems Officer for Clinical Information Systems. This executive leadership role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of clinical and business application systems across the health system. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the application services, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include executing a forward-looking application strategy, leading enterprise application initiatives, and overseeing the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications. The role also involves EHR and ERP oversight, portfolio and lifecycle management, stakeholder and vendor engagement, governance, risk, and compliance, as well as continuous improvement and innovation. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred, and generally require 7 to 10 years of related experience in enterprise application leadership, particularly within healthcare environments. The VP & CESO will be expected to have a proven track record in implementing complex enterprise systems, deep technical acumen, and visionary leadership. Experience in EHR and ERP systems, such as Epic and Infor, is essential. The role demands a leader who can drive innovation, ensure alignment between technology and clinical/business objectives, and champion scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership, and the ability to establish and achieve goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
