Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and mechanically inclined Water/Wastewater Operator to join our team. This role is essential to the safe and efficient operation of our plant’s water systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze water quality within the plant and at discharge points.
• Collect and test water samples to ensure compliance with regulatory parameters.
• Clean and replace filters as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pumps and related equipment.
• Rebuild and maintain pumps and mechanical systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in troubleshooting hydraulic and water pumps.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Water Operator License/Certificate (any class).
• Wastewater Treatment Certificate.
• Completion of 40-Hour HAZWOPER training.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.
